CTS led the transit on-board survey for Broward County Transit (BCT) Route 7 to perform market analysis, demand forecasting, and service plan recommendations. CTS also led the engineering evaluation for short-term traffic, transit, and multimodal improvements along the corridor by considering engineering features such as right-of-way, utilities, access management, drainage, structure, and local engagement.

Major tasks under this study included coordination, data collection and demand forecasting, operations analysis, concept design plan development, project prioritization and programming recommendations. The original recommendations were provided under the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Pines/Hollywood Corridor Study. CTS delivered a report to FDOT, which included concept designs, construction estimates and right-of-way needs for all improvements identified as part of this task. CTS also assisted in allocating funds for the FDOT Work Program. Approximately 100 improvement projects have been identified, prioritized, and programmed based on the project recommendations.
