CTS provided utility designation services (Quality level B) to verify the Horizontal location of a Florida Gas transmission pipeline route.
The route is approximately seven (7) miles of underground FTG pipeline prior to design. The limits of survey starting point is at the intersection of NW 137th Ave & NW 14th St going south bound to the intersection of SW 8th St turning east bound to the intersection SW 8th St & SW 84th Ave as end point.
CTS provided an electronic depth of cover for FGT at locations at plus or minus 1000 locations. CTS provided an electronic depth of cover every 50 feet along the pipeline route for areas that have straight runs. In addition, to requested 20-foot intervals at canal crossings and Railroad tracks. The elevations were provided using GPS RTK from a single FPRN base (within 0.25 of a foot).
All points were mapped in GIS to verify the consistency of the data and in CADD for final deliverables.
